WOW, I’m Back & ENGAGED.
Wow, Hi! I honestly thought I was done with this blog for a minute due to my extreme workload with Fifth and Ninth (If you don’t know what that is, I’ll get there)…but, after I got engaged – yes engaged (we’ll get there too and it’s going to need a separate post), I got a lot of requests to start back up again…so here I am!
Ok, so where to begin? This past year has been in.sane.
Let’s start with the fact that I’m back home. NYC was fun while it lasted…kind of. It took me a while to accept the fact that New York City wasn’t for me, I wanted it to be soooo badly. A part of growing up is learning who you are and what you want out of life, and being near family is number one priority for me. I was diagnosed incorrectly last year with Hodgkins Lymphoma (we’ll be talking about this in detail as well), and so it forced me to realize the harsh reality that life is so so short, and to only see the ones you love the most here and there is just not enough. That’s me, some of you are different and that’s OK too.
Living back home isn’t as bad as I chalked it up to be prior to my NYC move. I started an accessory brand, have been featured in several magazines, will be airing on the Rhode Show in a couple of weeks, had the opportunity to partner with some of the industry’s biggest brands and influencers, got my products picked up by major department stores andddd got engaged in front of all of my favorite people to the man of my dreams… OH, and now looking for a home to start our lives in! Life has moved fast, so keep up!
I’m gong to start my blog fresh with wedding updates, home updates, still some style posts, diet/nutrition updates, and lots of beauty posts because I am VERY into skincare right now. I’m also going to have my fiancé, Brett, take over here and there to give you some exercise tips that you can do at home! I hope I haven’t lost all of you, and if you’re still reading THANK YOU.
This blog has always been an outlet for me to be creative, reflect on what’s happening in my life at the moment, and most importantly a memoir of my growth over the years. With that being said, I will never delete any old posts and we can laugh at them together as we go along.
I’m going to create a separate post to explain Fifth & Ninth and answer all of the questions I’ve gotten about it since I started it. I’ll then do another separate post on the engagement because I know a lot of you are very interested in the mushy details (mom’s friends- I’m talking to you)!
